Military service has begun

Having gone through a difficult recruitment process and entrance exams, nearly 900 candidates for professional soldiers began their basic military training at Military University of Technology. During that time, they do their best to get to grips with military craft – a compulsory element of military studies at MUT.

The freshly admitted candidates are given sets of uniforms and necessary military equipment. Then, they are sent to appropriate subunits where the staff and infrastructure is presented. At the first-class session, the future soldiers become acquainted with military ranks, regulations and drills. They also receive their weapons and attend such lectures and trainings as: military course, logistics, civic education and military education which are obligatory to pass in order to formally become MUT students.

Basic military training for the candidates is the time for their adaptation and preparation for military service in the future. The knowledge and skills gained during these six weeks of training will be tested at the end of September and the military oath ceremony will take place on 27th September.
