On 2 – 7 April 2019 the representatives of Military University of Technology attended International Week held by The Royal Military Academy of Belgium. The delegation comprised three members: 1st Lt Cezary Czarnecki and two cadets – Sgt Dawid Boryczko and Sgt Aleksandra Figat.
The delegations of military academies representing 16 countries which participated in the event included: the Czech Republic, Greece, France, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Canada, Morocco, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Latvia.
During the visit the MUT delegates got acquainted with the academy campus, laboratories, sports facilities and research activities of the Belgian academy. Another part of the stay was the visitation in the military training centre in Marches-Les-Dames in the southern Belgium where the mountain climbing training was conducted under the supervision of experienced Belgian instructors.
The attendees of International Week had also the possibility to take a tour of Brussels and Bruges. The final highlight on the agenda was The Royal Military Academy Ball during which the official presentation of military academies could be witnessed.
The presence of MUT representatives in International Week turned out to be the opportunity to encounter The Royal Military Academy and to engage in contacts with foreigners from various military academies.
