Between 3rd and 7th May 2019 Military University of Technology organized the Common Module – Advanced Technologies in Borders Surveillance. It was the second edition of the training at MUT for foreign military students within the so-called Military Erasmus.
Participants from Italy, Romania, the Czech Republic and Poland were admitted as part of this course which is the result of collaboration between five MUT organizational units: Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Faculty of Cybernetics, Faculty of Electronics, Faculty of Advanced Technologies and Chemistry and Institute of Optoelectronics.
The subject area comprised techniques of geospatial intelligence, application of virtual simulation for training of border guards, biometric support, detection of chemical, radiation and explosive hazards, detection and interference of unauthorized radio emissions and night vision and infrared technologies.
