A Journey of MUT Cadets to Experience American Culture

The U.S. Department of State organized the international programme Study of U.S. Institute between 22.06. and 28.07.2019 for 99 young leaders of various countries from all over the world. The students attended lectures at four institutes where they gained a thorough insight into multiple problems.

Three MUT cadets – senior corporals Katarzyna Andrzejak, Mateusz Stachecki and Daniel Walasek took part in that event on the University of Nevada campus in Reno, Nevada, together with cadets of Military University of Land Forces and Polish Naval Academy.

The subject matter of the lectures included Role of Law and Public Service. Its aim was to familiarize the participants with one of the key pillars of American authority – judiciary of the federal system.

The cadets also participated in several meetings, e.g. with the representatives of National Guard and at the military base of Carson City. The focal point of the visit was the training and workout session with soldiers of Marine Corps.

In addition to intensive classes, the cadets did the sightseeing trips nearby, e.g. to San Francisco and, therefore, they became acquainted with the cultural life of the USA.

During the last week of the stay, the participants spent their time in Atlanta and Washington where they took part in the sum-up classes, lectures and trainings. The whole experience turned out to be an unforgettable one for the cadets of our university.
