On the 13th September the representatives of Vassil Levski National Military University from Bulgaria visited the Military University of Technology once again.
While staying at MUT, the biggest Bulgarian military university was represented by: Rector-Commandant Brig. Gen. Plamen Nikolov Bogdanov, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Aviation Colonel Ivaylo Atanasov Angelov and Yavor Tsvetanov Varbanov, an English teacher. The host of the whole visit was the Vice-Rector for Military Affairs Col. Artur Król, DSc, Eng. He was accompanied by the deputy dean of The Faculty of Mechatronics and Aerospace Col. Przemysław Kupidura, DSc, Eng., Head of International Cooperation Department of MUT Col. Mariusz Gontarczyk, Ph.D., MSc. Eng. and the coordinator of MUT Erasmus+ programme Karol Wilk, M.A.
The discussion was centered on the possibility of educational cooperation between MUT and VLNMU and the continuation of the student exchange within the Erasmus+ programme. What is more, the joint activities from the recent cooperation period were also discussed. In terms of the cooperation that was launched last year, the Bulgarian cadets participated in the Multinational Sports and Shooting Games that were held in May 2018 at MUT, the Polish cadets were, in turn, invited to take part in the unmanned aerial vehicle competition organized by The Faculty of Aviation at VLNMU. The first student exchange also took place – five cadets from Vassil Levski stayed at MUT in July and August to take part in the practice at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Aviation while the Bulgarian university hosted one MUT cadet for half a year.
